[FLAGS & PATRIOTIC TEXTILES]. 48-star American flag. Manufactured by the Valley Forge Flag Company. Ca mid 20th century.
110 x 56 in. machine-sewn wool flag with 48 machine-sewn, double-appliqued cotton stars arranged in 8-8-8-8-8-8 pattern (very good condition, light soiling throughout). Hoist is cotton with metal grommets and "Valley Forge Flag Co." stamp near top edge.
