[ROOSEVELT, Franklin Delano (1882-1945) -- ROOSEVELT, Eleanor (1884-1962)]. A group of invitations, menus, and travel passes, comprising: 


Menu and program from the "Jackson Day Dinner Under Auspices of Jackson Day Dinner Committee of the District of Columbia." Mayflower Hotel [Washington, D.C.], 7 January 1939. (Soil at bottom left of front cover, scattered creasing to cover, wear). President Franklin D. Roosevelt is identified on the program as addressing the attendees. -- Menu and program from the "George Washington Dinner." Mayflower Hotel, City of Washington, 23 February 1942.  (Cover plastic peeling, light soil.) The event featured, among other in-person speakers, a radio address delivered by President Roosevelt.

[With:] A group of 5 passes identifying bearer as "A member of the President's immediate party" on various presidential trips including to the President's home at Hyde Park, New York.  -- Pennsylvania Railroad and New York Central System railroad menus from a "Trip of / The President"  including to the President's home at Hyde Park, New York. -- An "At Home" card from "Mrs. Roosevelt" on  White House stationery. -- Assorted invitations to Washington, D.C. political dinners, events, and committees, many associated with Roosevelt.
