Cabinet cards featuring Supreme Court Justices John Marshall Harlan (Associate Justice, 1877-1911), Morrison Waite (Chief Justice, 1874-1888), Lucius Quintus Cincinnatus Lamar (Associate Justice, 1888-1893), Melvill Fuller (Chief Justice, 1888-1910), and Edward Douglass White (Chief Justice, 1910-1921). Washington, DC: Bell, n.d. Each with Bell's imprint on mount recto and ink inscription on verso identifying subject, state of origin, birth dates, death dates (in some instances), role on the Supreme Court, and term dates. -- HANDY, L.C., photographer.
