The present drawing is from the title page of the book by Marcel Brion, Chagall, published by Éditions Aimery Somogy, Paris, 1959. The dedication by Chagall is addressed to the painter Constant Baruque (1914-1989), who was connected with various artists, such as Chagall, Picasso, and Dalí.
