solid and sturdy, each piece of substantial weight; the bench with some splits to left-facing front of seat; each with evidence of a few different campaigns of paint, presently with a white-painted surface, having some crackling or crazing commensurate with use; with some areas of wear or rubbing to painted surface, particularly to armrests, showing evidence of a former green color beneath; with some possible repairs, including one area to left-facing side of seat to bench, but any possible mends are obscured by painted surface and don't appear obvious
