solid and sturdy, of a substantial weight; likely with a few campaigns of paint, presently with a later white-painted finish, the painted surface having some subtle crazing, crackling, small occasional losses, and general wear commensurate with age and honest use, including some dark scuffing to feet; one leaf stem with break / loss, to left-facing corner of backrest; a probable repaired break and loss to another leaf and tendril to right-facing corner of backrest; other possible repairs are disguised by painted surface, but overall the bench presents well
