both chairs are stable and sturdy, and present really well, with a mild patination to surface commensurate with age and honest use; chair 1: slight age crack to upper part of crest, repaired break to upper part of left-facing rear leg, a couple minor mends and old losses along feet; chair 2: the seat with some water spotting to finish, the splat / rail joint has been reinforced with pins, mend to upper part of right-facing rear leg
