9 1/2 x 6 1/4 in. Omaha, Nebraska, directory repurposed as a photo album containing approx. 49 tipped in cyanotypes, randomly mounted throughout the directory. Some are also loosely tucked into the directory pages. The cyanotypes measure approx. 8 x 5 in. or smaller. Some are accompanied by manuscript captions. Interior of front cover inscribed with date of August 4th, [18]88, and a list of men and women, including a "Business Manager" and "Honorary Members." Subject matter ranges from interior and exterior views of a home as well as artfully posed and playful portraits of men, women, and children, including some family portraits. Images of note include a female photographer posed with her camera, with examples of her work displayed in the foreground, women playing instruments, young women dressed in costume, a woman standing with a baseball bat and ready to play ball," and more. (Covers fully separated and heavily worn, many pages loose, with edge and corner wear to the pages. Images overall good to very good.)
