A Nepalese Coral, Jade Turquoise Inset Silver Jade Sword
19TH/20TH CENTURY
19-20世紀 尼泊爾銀鑲玉嵌寳劍
the double edged blade tapering to a blunt tip, the chased silver hilt having a celadon jade bi disc as a guard, further mounted with a smooth ring at the handle with a coral inset floriform pommel mounted with a ring. The scabbard comprised of numerous jade bands between silver rings inset with petite turquoise and coral cabochons, and mounted with dragon-head masks suspending loop rings. The whole raised on a modern display stand.
