Ninth plate ruby ambrotype bust-length seated studio portrait of a gentleman wearing a large cockade. Ninth plate hand-tinted ruby ambrotype. (Excellent tonality and clarity). Housed in full pressed paper case with geometric design. -- Quarter plate daguerreotype half-length studio portrait of a man holding a walking stick. Charleston, SC: Cook, n.d. Quarter plate daguerreotype. (Spotting, light tarnishing to edge.) Housed in half pressed paper case marked "Cook / Artist / Charleston" (tarnishing to mat, heavy scuffs). -- Sixth plate tintype half-length seated studio portrait of an older man. Sixth plate tintype. (Some darkening to lower and left edges). Housed in half pressed paper case with geometric design, paired with mismatched case lid with mother-of-pearl inlay and hand-painting. -- Ninth plate ruby ambrotype half-length seated studio portrait of a young woman.
