Lot Description

[CIVIL WAR]. A group of 2 bridles, incl. McClellan cavalry bit and bridle.


1863 bit with 1859 bridle.  Bit has two brass US rosettes and much factory blue remaining.  Bit stamped “A Barclay” and bridle is complete with all straps and correct 1859 iron buckles.  Small iron rivets added to reinforce stitching for the buckles on the bridle straps near bit.  (excellent) 

[With:] Civil War mule bridle set with blinders and flat US rosettes.  Complete. (some mildew on leather)
