Ca 1870. “Stereoscopic Gems of Utah Scenery By C.W. Carter, Photographer” printed on front margins. Photo title and C.W. Carter’s View Emporium printed on the verso with handwritten “N. East from National Bank.”  Mautz pg. 486. -- Black Rock and Building, Great Salt Lake. Ca 1870. Stereoview of possibly a public building/resort on the shore of the Lake with Black Rock in the background. “Utah, By C.W. Carter. Description on Back” printed on front margins. Together, 4 stereoviews, 6 1/4 x 3 in. or smaller, on cardstock mounts. Condition generally good, with occasional spotting and some edge/corner wear to mounts.
