Lot Description

[NATIVE AMERICANS]. A group of 3 stereoviews, incl. Native American students at Indian schools.

Uncredited stereoview featuring outdoor portrait of a group of young Native American students in Anglo-style clothing seated and standing in front of a large brick building, with white men and women posed on the porch, presumably the teaching staff.

[With:] Band of Indian Boys at the Government School, Washington, DC. Uncredited stereoview of a group of Native American young men in uniform with instruments in hand, on mount with "Popular Series" imprint (some wrinkling to right edge of print, some surface soiling to mount).

[Also with:] Uncredited stereoview of a Native American warrior seated in a studio with tomahawk in hand (some staining to surface of print and mount, edge and corner wear to mount). Possibly by Hamilton & Hoyt, Sioux City, Iowa.

Together, 3 stereoviews, 6 1/2 x 3 1/2 in. or smaller on cardstock mounts.
