[LINCOLNIANA]. A group of 2 images, featuring CDV of Head Guard at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Jackson, Michigan: N.E. Allen, May 1865.
CDV of head guard for Abraham Lincoln at Oak Ridge Cemetery. 24th Michigan Volunteer Regiment was the honor guard. Star Gallery, Jackson, Michigan. Manuscript note on verso of CDV: "J.R. while head guard at Oak Ridge for the remains of our slain President - May 1865."
Cabinet photo of young woman with extensive hand-coloring of her dress, cheeks and hair. Photographer's identification "A.W. Burman, Melbourne." There is a lion and unicorn crest both recto and verso, so this is Australian. On verso is a gift inscription.
