[TYLER, John (1790-1862)]. Possible forged letter signed ("John Tyler"), by a Mr. Abell, to John F. Werner, Esq. President's House, 4 December 1843. 1 page, 8vo, fold lines, few small holes at folds.
The forceful letter in full: "As it is considered of importance, injustice to the President, to circulate among the people the work spoken of with Abell's letter accompanying their, you will confer a favor in the undersigned by taking such measures for that end as Mr. A. suggests. Prompt action + a liberal subscription will render your services still more useful."
