Comprising: 4 promotional cards for “Barry Moser On the Illustration of Moby-Dick,” given at the Mead Auditorium, Amherst College, April 2, 1981, illustrated with a woodcut whale vignette — Original woodblock used for the white whale vignette used to illustrate the card. — And a manuscript calligraphic sheet by Moser with quotation from Melville on whether a book is ever “finished” from Moby Dick, it reads:  “Oh, Time, Strength, Cash, & Patience / Herman Melville fr. Moby Dick.” 6 1/2 by 9 1/2 inches, on watercolor paper, with some other calligraphic trials on verso.
