FIRST AMERICAN EDITION, which, according to Green and Gibson, preceded the English edition by more than 3 months. VERY RARE IN THE ORIGINAL DUST JACKET, gilt-lettered and with a color illustration on the front panel, with a blurb on the back panel and publisher's advertisements on the flaps.
