Lot Description
[EARLY PHOTOGRAPHY - UNION CASES]. A group of 10 brown "oreo" union cases containing portraits of male subjects, including:
A Unique example with mother of pearl [Berg 3-667M]; a Very Very Rare example [3503Gat] (heavy wear to gilt detail, some loss to rim); 4 Rare examples [3-501G, 3-540G, 3-525G, 3-557G]; and 4 Scarce examples [3-449a, 3-516, 3-536, 3-552G]. Conditions vary, but most include light to moderate soiling and/or chipping.
Cases contain images of male subjects including one portrait of two men [3-501G] and a portrait of a young boy [3-540].
