Housed together in a pressed paper case (heavy wear including loss and separation throughout). Both portraits appear to be taken in the same studio, with the same ornate pillar and decorative object visible to the right of each subject. -- A pair of sixth plate daguerreotype portraits, one featuring a man and one featuring a young woman with braided hair.
