[EARLY PHOTOGRAPHY - PORTRAITURE]. A group of 6 folk art hand-painted tintypes of soldiers in uniform, comprising: 


Standing portrait of a corporal with epaulettes and light blue cross belts from unknown 69th regiment, Company E. 5 3/4 x 7 3/4 in., framed to 15 x 12 3/4 in. -- Standing portrait of a soldier holding a rifle, his US belt buckle visible. 6 1/2 x 8 1/2 in., framed to 11 3/4 x 13 3/4 in. -- Standing studio portrait of a cavalryman wearing a hat and uniform with epaulettes. 5 3/8 x 7 3/8 in., framed to 9 1/2 x 11 1/2 in. --  Standing portrait of soldier wearing a red jacket festooned with two medals. 7 1/2 x 9 1/2 in., framed to 13 1/4 x 15 in. -- Standing portrait of a uniformed soldier with one hand resting on a chair and the other holding a walking stick. 5 x 7 in., framed 11 x 13 in. -- Standing portrait of a uniformed soldier with a cross belt and holding a bayonetted rifle. 6 1/2 x 8 5/8 in., framed to 12 1/4 x 14 1/2 in. -- Together, 6 hand-painted tintypes of soldiers, all n.p.: n.p., n.d., condition generally good, occasional scratches, not examined out of frames.
