[CIVIL WAR - CURRENCY]. A group of 6 Confederate currency notes, comprising:
State of Alabama, fractional currency, 25 cents and 50 cents. Both from the issue of Jan. 1, 1863. 25 cent bill No. 76796, plate L. 50 cent bill No. 55141, plate J.
State of Louisiana, 20 dollars, issue of March 10, 1863, No. 1236, plate E. Beauregard at center.
Three CSA bills: $10, Feb. 17, 1864, No.102568, red variety, horses pulling cannon, R.M.T. Hunter lower right. In fairly good condition – not professionally graded.
$20, Feb. 17, 1864, No.1943 (?), Nashville State Capitol in Tennessee, Alexander Stephens lower right. Moderate wear, signatures not visible.
$100, Dec. 15, 1862, No. 111009, Plate W. J.C. Calhoun lower left, “Confederacy” on right, African Americans hoeing in center.
