[GENERAL AMERICANA]. A group of 21 legal documents from Connecticut, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Oregon, ca late 18th to 19th century, including:
Connecticut Pay Table receipt, 1 Feb. 1781.
Indenture for land in CT, 11 June 1802.
Four pieces from a Switzerland County, Indiana case of theft involving Mattie Gray, and three more pieces from the same case involving one Augustus Bloom. March 1866
Allegheny County (PA) case of damage by a tenant, 1796.
Six documents relating to a murder in Wayne Co., VA (“killed by knocking his brains out with a stool”). 1848
Arrest warrant from Lycoming County, PA. Feb. 1800 and one from Beaufort Co. PA, 2 Jan. 1809.
