[EARLY PHOTOGRAPHY - PORTRAITURE]. Uncredited portraits of children housed in wall frames, including:
Quarter plate ambrotype of a mother holding her baby across her lap (significant loss to emulsion and lacquer, unexamined out of the frame). -- Quarter plate ambrotype of a father sitting next to his standing young child (significant loss to emulsion and lacquer, unexamined out of the frame). -- Quarter plate daguerreotype of a young girl wearing an off-the-shoulder dress (tarnishing to edges, loss to emulsion, soiling to mat, unexamined out of the frame). Frame verso with partial remainder of "Globe Art Company" sticker affixed. -- Sixth plate tintype portrait of a young girl seated in a fringed chair (minor surface imperfections, oxidation to preserver, unexamined out of the frame). Pencil inscription on frame verso reads, "taken in year / 1861." -- Together, 4 framed photographs.
