8vo. EXTRA-ILLUSTRATED by the addition of approximately 60 engravings, etchings, and portraits, many window-mounted. Burgundy crushed levant elaborately gilt, brown morocco lettering-piece gilt, turn-ins gilt, tan crushed levant doublures with wide decorative border gilt surrounding a central gilt arabesque with burgundy morocco onlay, tan watered silk endpapers, top edge gilt, others uncut, BY THE MONASTERY HILL BINDERY (some slight rubbing to joints and extremities, short split at head of spine).
