Lot Description
Dress and Shoes, 1982. Dress design by Paul Zastupnevitch, made by Western Costume Company in Los Angeles.
Worn by Olivia de Havilland for ‘The Night of a Hundred Stars II” at the Radio City Hall in New York in 1985. Also worn for the White House State Dinner given by Ronald Reagan in honor of President Francois Mitterand on March 22, 1984.
Blue silk crepe dress made of multiple layers of the same material with a wide, sweeping hem and a single, see-through layer for the sleeves. A wide cape of the same blue crepe is stitched to the right and left shoudler and drapes open down the center back. The dress closes down the center back. A blue and clear rhinestone pin is stitched to the left shoulder and the dress comes with an extra blue and clear rhinestone pin and set of earrings. Matching blue satin shoes complete the ensemble.
The dress, pins and earrings are all unmarked/unlabelled. The label on the shoes: Delman / New York / Paris / Rome. Shoe size: 6.5
