Double action six-shot hand ejector revolver with fixed front blade with topstrap rear notch sights. Markings include two-line address and patent to the top of the barrel with the left struck COLT D.A. 45, and the lower barrel marked UNITED STATES PROPERTY. Revolver further marked with the {Rampant Colt} logo on the sideplate, {Eaglehead/18} inspection stamp to left frame, and H stamp to interior frame and rear cylinder. Butt is marked U.S./ARMY/MODEL/1917. Serial numbers match on the frame and crane. Serial number on butt reads 100492. Grips have been sanded. {C&R}
