Group of Two Swivel Bale M1 Helmets
World War II
Lot of Two M1 Steel Helmets Including:
1.) L: 11.5", W: 10", H: 7.5"
Repainted McCord M1 steel helmet with 558C heat stamp with front seam rim and swivel bales secured by three spot welds and mounting only one half of the chinstrap. Item comes with a CAPAC liner with the entire suspension system removed, and only four intact oxidized rivets in place.
2.) L: 11.5", W: 10", H: 7.5"
Post War M1 Steel helmet with M prefix heat mark that has been partially concealed with repaint, and mounts swivel bales secured with two spot welds, and a rear seam rim. Item lacks a liner. Flanks are hand painted with a Red Cross logo over a white square.
