Single action six-shot percussion revolver with solid frame and octagonal barrel. Topstrap is marked ROGERS & SPENCER/UTICA NY. Item shows a {Shield} proof to lower frame, and C initial to the barrel after the serial number and mating number, the latter being 2709. P initial to right barrel, but no extant cartouches on grips. Serial numbers match on the barrel, butt and left frame, but the cylinder shows a non matching number of 5410. Replaced loading lever stud, and likely replaced front sight. {ANTIQUE}
