1) San Jose "Mercury" Extra. "The Latest! Garfield Dying!" No Hope of His Recovery." 2 July 1881. 11 x 5 1/2 in. Single column broadside describing Garfield's assassin Charles Guiteau and Garfield's condition.
2) St. Louis [MI] Leader. "'Tis Ended. Grant is Dead. The Old Hero Surrenders!" 23 July 1885. 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 in. Single column broadside detailing Grant's last days.
3) Fredericksburg Publishing Co., Inc. "President F.D. Roosevelt DEAD." 12 April 1945. 9 x 6 in. Single sheet bulletin which reads in full, "Our Nation's Chief Executive died this Afternoon, Thursday, April 12, 1945, of a Cerebral Hemorrage at Warm Springs, Ga., at the age of 63 years."
