[LINCOLN, Robert Todd (1843-1926), his copies]. A pair of Abraham Lincoln bibliographies from Robert Todd's library, comprising:

1) BOYD, Andrew. A Memorial Lincoln Bibliography. Albany, NY: Andrew Boyd, 1870. 4to (267 x 178 mm). Original brown cloth (rebacked, losses to spine); slipcase. FIRST EDITION. TWICE-STAMPED WITH ROBERT TODD LINCOLN'S OWNERSHIP STAMP. RARE: Includes all three photographic plates not found in all copies.

2) FISH, Daniel, editor. Lincoln Literature: A Bibliographical Account of Books and Pamphlets Relating to Abraham Lincoln. Minneapolis: Published by the Board, 1900. 4to (267 x 191 mm). Original printed wraps (front wrap partially detached, spine rubbed away, soiling); modern chemise and slipcase. FIRST EDITION. PRESENTATION COPY FROM FISH TO ROBERT TODD LINCOLN WITH ACCOMPANYING LETTER dated 8 December 1900. In full: "The first complete copies of my Lincoln Bibliography were delivered to me today, and I have already mailed one to you in response to your order and remittance of October 3d. The list has been a difficult one to get printed without disfiguring mistakes, but by taking great pains, it is at last accomplished with reasonable accuracy. I would be very glad to hear a word from you, indicating your opinion of it."
