The first, Ohio, Circa 1840-1845, the second, Daniel Stephenson (b. English, 1823–1892), Fairfield, Jefferson County, Iowa, Dated, "1870"

the first, plain weave double cloth; woven on loom with Jacquard attachment; the second, plain weave with plain interlacings of secondary binding warps and patterning wefts (Beiderwand), inscribed, "Made by D. Stephenson/ Fairfield/ Jefferson Co./ Iowa,/ 1870".
