Studio portrait of Major James McLaughlin and Native American Subjects

7 3/8 x 9 1/2 in. photograph on 9 3/4 x 12 1/4 in. cardstock mount. A portrait of nine men posed together in a studio setting, including Major James McClaughlin and unidentified white and Native American subjects. Uncredited, but possibly taken by D.F. Barry.

Indian Agent Major James McLaughlin is best known for ordering the arrest of Sitting Bull on 14 December 1890, which resulted in his death the following morning.
