four cabinet photographs on cardstock mounts, unmarked but attributed to R.L. Kelly, Pierre, South Dakota, ca 1880s. Subjects identified in pencil on mount recto.
Includes: Little Bull, Cheyenne. -- Two Sioux women. -- Mr. and Mrs. Buffalo Ghost. -- "Charlie & Squaws" (as identified on mount).
R. L. Kelly, a native of Canada, trained in photography and operated a studio in Hamilton, Ontario, before moving to Pierre, Dakota Territory, where he opened a studio in 1881.
