Three Spencer Socket Bayonets, One 1st and Two 2nd Patterns, two with Scabbards
American Civil War

1) 1st Pattern Spencer Rifle Socket Bayonet by Bay State Tool Company. Unmarked. 18.5" blade, 3" socket, 21.5" in overall length. Muzzle diameter is .821". Functional locking ring. No scabbard present.

2) 2nd Pattern M1860 Spencer Rifle Socket Bayonet. Unmarked other than a small "M" forward of the mortise cut. 17.75" blade, 3" socket, 21" in overall length. Muzzle diameter is .81". Functional locking ring. Includes a July of 1864 pattern "8 Rivet" scabbard with a blackened buff frog.

3) 2) 2nd Pattern M1860 Spencer Rifle Socket Bayonet. Unmarked other than a small "M" forward of the mortise cut. 18" blade, 3" socket, 21.25" in overall length. Muzzle diameter is .814". Functional locking ring. Includes a July of 1864 pattern "8 Rivet" scabbard with a blackened buff frog.
