1. Livingston, Henry Brockholst
Manuscript Document, signed
Albany, April 10, 1802. Single vellum sheet, 6 x 10 1/2 in. (153 x 266 mm). Supreme Court of the State of New York order related to the case of William Craig Survivor vs. Allen Taylor, endorsed by Livingston on verso. Creasing from old folds; scattered soiling; losses in top margin.
2. Duvall, Gabriel

Manuscript letter, signed by Duvall as Comptroller of the Treasury, to Caleb Hopkins, regarding a statement of official expenditures. Boston, February 15, 1852. Single sheet (integral leaf likely perished), 6 x 4 1/2 in. (152 x 114 mm). One-page autograph letter, signed by Gray as a lawyer to an unidentified Commodore, thanking him for his kind wishes. Crease at center fold; tape remnants and residue along margins.
5. Field, Stephen J.

Washington, D.C., no date (but ca. 1865-69). Bifolium, 10 x 8 in. (254 x 203 mm). One-page manuscript letter, signed by Field as Supreme Court Justice, addressed to President Andrew Johnson, endorsing a recommendation for B.L. Whiting to serve as District Attorney for the Northern District of California. Co-signed by one other California judge, as well as two clerks. Contemporary endorsement on verso. Creasing from old folds; sello tape residue on verso.
