Salted paper prints, lot of 3. Each mounted on a larger 15 x 18" mount, with a printed caption and credit for Fenton.
 
Includes "The Town of Balaklava, Jan. 1, 1856"; "Railway Sheds & Workshops, Balaklava, April 5, 1856"; "Sebastopol from the Redoubt des Anglais, May 12, 1856." Fenton (1819-1869) is generally credited as being the first War photographer, made famous by his splendid series on the carnage of the war on the Crimean Peninsula.
