[CIVIL WAR]. 5 portraits of unidentified officers and enlisted men.
2 1/2 x 3 1/8 in. loose tintype portrait of a seated officer wearing a Model 1851 rectangular eagle-in-wreath belt plate and unadorned cap. He holds the guard of his attached sword in one hand, lifting it to show a portion of the weapon to the camera (several abrasions, bends, dents and other imperfections to image). -- CDV full standing portrait of a US Navy ensign wearing a double-breasted frock coat with single star cuff device and shoulder boards. He touches the guard of his attached sword with one hand. Lancaster, PA: Charles W. Eberman, n.d. (Some spotting and edge wear to print, with soiling to mount). -- Full standing CDV portrait of a US Navy officer wearing a double-breasted frock coat with shoulder boards and a wheel cap with wreathed insignia. He sports a shiny leather belt with circular two-piece buckle and sword. New York: Charles D. Fredricks & Co., n.d (toning, spotting, and soiling to print, mount with soiling and lower corners clipped unevenly). -- And 2 others including a post-war CDV-sized tintype in a deteriorating and separated paper sleeve, and a CDV. -- Together, 5 portraits of unidentified officers and enlisted men.
