[EARLY PHOTOGRAPHY]. 30 sixth plate daguerreotypes of lovely ladies.
Seated bust portrait of a woman wearing a lace collar and brooch. (Minor tarnishing to edges, few spots.) Mat stamped "HALE." Housed in a fully separated mother-of-pearl case (surface wear, closure damage). Ink inscription to case interior reads, "Lydia C. Wood Fisk wife of D. B. Fisk. / born. / died. 1903." -- Seated portrait of a woman wearing fine gold jewelry with highlighting and bejeweling effect on plate. (Tarnishing to edges, few spots, heavy spotting/oxidation to mat; resealed.) Housed in a half pressed paper case. -- Seated portrait of a woman with her elbow propped upon a stack of books on the side table next to her. (Significant chemical wear/tarnishing, some denting and scratches/wipes; unsealed.) Housed in a half pressed paper case. -- And 27 others. Some without cases.
