[EARLY PHOTOGRAPHY]. 20 sixth plate daguerreotypes of balding men or men with receding hairlines.
Bust portrait of an older gentleman with a fairly stark widow's peak, his hair slicked forward. (Significant tarnishing to edges and spotting/specks throughout; original seal over entire back of image.) Mat stamped, "POLLOCK / BALTO." Housed in a leatherette case (surface wear). -- Possibly European half portrait of a middle-aged man dressed finely, with longer hair on the sides of his head. (Tarnishing to edges, some chemical discoloration and minor other imperfections, no preserver present.) Housed in a maroon leatherette case (some surface wear and separation to spine). -- Possibly European seated portrait of a bearded man wearing a hand-tinted checkered waistcoat. (Tarnishing to edges, spotting throughout, no preserver present.) Housed in a maroon leatherette case (surface wear, some wear to spine, some discoloration/wear to satin pad). -- And 17 others.
