Lot Description
[CAMERAS]. 2 miniature cameras, incl. Kombi and Expo Watch camera.
The Kombi camera, made entirely of brass, serial no. 324, size approx. 1 3/4 x 1 3/4 x 2 1/8 in. Manufactured by Alfred C. Kemper of Chicago, IL, ca 1893. The first miniature camera to use roll film (some tarnish and light surface wear). With 1975 reprint of the Kombi Photography instruction booklet and copy of The Photographic Collectors' Newsletter, 1975, with diagram of the Kombi on the front cover. -- Expo Watch camera, comprised of a small detective camera stylized in the form of a pocket watch, size 2 in. diameter. Manufactured by Expo Camera Co., New York, ca early 1900s. With original instruction booklet (camera in overall good condition).
