A lot of 18 items, comprising:
Wooden tabletop stereo/monocular graphoscope, base approx. 11 1/4 x 6 in. -- 2 Holmes-Bates wooden stereoscopes with handles, approx. 12 1/2 in. long or smaller, one with brass trim.
[With:] 13 stereoviews with varied content, including a scene capturing Parisian architecture with verso imprint of The Holmes Stereoscope, Joseph L. Bates, Boston." Also enclosed are 2 scenes by the Rippel Brothers, Milton, PA, including a view of men digging a ditch, possibly in the aftermath of some type of disaster, as well as views of the Cliff House, London, and various genre scenes including an African American subject, many of which are credited to Underwood & Underwood. -- Keystone View Co. box with "Stereographic Library / Telebinocular" in gilt on spine, no stereoviews enclosed. -- 14 x 22 in. printed poster, "Now on Exhibition (fourth floor) / Stereopticon Views of the San Francisco Ruins / Free - You Are Invited."
