[EARLY PHOTO]. Harvard Camera outfit, incl. viewer and developer bottle [With:] Ingersoll Sure-Shot.
Harvard Camera outfit manufactured by Perry Mason & Co., Boston, MA, ca 1890. Camera in black metal with gold pin-striping, made for 2 1/2 x 3 1/2" plates. Size 4 x 4 x 3 1/8 in. (some light surface wear throughout). With viewer, glass developer bottle, transfer sleeve, printing frame, original Harvard Camera photograph, imprints, and copy of Youth's Companion, with half-page illustrated advertisement for the "Complete Harvard Photograph Outfit." This camera was often awarded to children who sold subscriptions to this periodical.
[With:] Sure-Shot camera manufactured by Robert Ingersoll Brothers, New York, NY, ca late 1890s. Small all-wood box plate camera for single exposures on glass plates. Size 3 3/4 x 3 x 3 in. (overall very good, with light surface wear). With exposed glass plate negative.
