J. Lancaster & Son. Birmingham, England, ca 1890. The Special (Patented) Camera was manufactured by J. Lancaster & Son from approximately 1888 to 1894. It was a high quality, portable, brass-bound, half-plate camera constructed of mahogany with wine-red leather bellows.
