Circa 1836
labels verso, typed, "Lyman Allyn Museum, New London, Connecticut U.S.A./ Surface Coatings B67 in Mineral Spirits/ Sept. 1966 by Spray", and "1836/ Kent, Conn./ 172* Hannah Mills Raymond 1815-1837/ Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Milton Raymond (numbers 170 and 171). The portrait has been identified as Myra Ann Mills Blair, but the apparent youth of the subject makes this identification as her niece a more likely one/ Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence B. Holdridge, Baltimore, Md.", oil on canvas, framed.
