8vo. Frontispiece, etched title, and 14 plates by H.K. Browne. (Few small spots to frontispiece and title-page margins.) ORIGINAL GREEN CLOTH, covers decorated in blind, gilt-lettered spine (slight lean, spine faded).
FIRST EDITION IN BOOK FORM, second issue with p.213 correctly numbered and signature "b" omitted on the List of Plates leaf. IN THE RARE SECONDARY BINDING, which Eckel notes as being seen "not very often." Smith states that this is probably a later state binding than that in red morocco cloth. Smith I:13; Gimbel A142.
