[GOFF, O.S. (1843-1916), photographer]. Cabinet card portrait of Crow Flies High. [Bismarck, Dakota Territory].


Cabinet photograph on cardstock mount. Uncredited but likely taken by O.S. Goff. Mount verso inscribed "Crow that flies high / second chief of Gosvontre [sic]." The Gros Ventre or Hidatsa chief wears a beaded shirt and feathered headdress and holds a US cavalry sword.
