Lot Description
[CUSTER, George A. (1839-1876)]. CDV of Custer as Lieutenant Colonel. [Monroe, MI: Simon Wing, ca 1873].
CDV on cardstock mount lacking a studio imprint but issued by Simon Wing, Monroe, Michigan, in March 1873.
A contemporary carte de visite copied from the original albumen print by Bingham and Craver and given to all of the patrons having pictures taken at Wing's Gallery (Katz-117V).
