12 1/4 x 8 1/2 in. (image) lithograph, framed to 15 x 19 in. Printed by D. Needham, Buffalo, NY. Publisher's and printer's information just below image. Title centered in lower margin, with subtitle reading, "Mining Operations on the Western shore of the Sacramento River."
Featured in the foreground of this boldly colored lithograph is a diverse group of people positioned along the bank of the river, utilizing all manner of tools including shovels, buckets, pick axes, and even what appears to be a makeshift shaker table in their mining efforts.
