Gemini Spacecraft. Designed and built by McDonnell, St. Louis for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. 21 x 11 3/8 in. (sight) print with the signatures of 16 astronauts involved in Project Gemini, including:
Left column features the "Mercury Seven," the first astronauts selected for Project Mercury, including: Malcolm S. Carpenter, Leroy G. Cooper, Jr. (likely autopen), John H. Glenn, Jr., Virgil I. Grissom (possibly autopen), Walter M. Schirra, Jr. (possibly autopen), Alan B. Shepard, Jr. (secretarial), Donald K. Slayton (likely autopen).
Right column features the "New Nine," generally viewed as the original Gemini astronauts, including: Neil Armstrong (autopen), Frank Borman (possibly autopen), Charles Conrad Jr. (autopen), James A. Lovell, James A. Mcdivitt (autopen), Elliot M. See (autopen), Thomas P. Stafford (autopen), Edward H. White (possibly autopen), and John W. Young. Matted and framed, 28 1/2 x 19 in. overall.
