Late Qing/Republic Period (1912-1949)
The heavily potted porcelain scepter is finely molded in high relief on top of the ruyi head centered with a shou roundel enclosed by winged bats and auspicious clouds, the raised oblong-shaped center section and the quatrefoil end of the shaft each molded with a shaugnxi (double happiness) character against an interlocking T ground; the rest of the handle with crane above rockworks and flowering prunus branches. The scepter is enameled overall in mottled blue-green and white in imitation of jadeite.
